The Path of Power.

When you cannot accept that you are the creator of your own reality, you are living with a victim mentality. As a victim you are suppressed and held back.

For some of us going through life blaming others for our misfortune is comfortable, Its simply too hard to blame ourselves.

Think back to a time when you considered yourself a victim, perhaps you got a flat tire on your way to work, or you were laid off from your job just before Christmas, or you were divorced by your spouse, or you just felt that the forces of the universe were conspiring against you and everything in your life seemed to be going wrong.

How did you react?

Claiming your power means taking 100% responsibility and embracing every challenge obstacle and crisis that comes your way. Your power does not come from within; your power is all around you. Once you know how to harness that power youll have the ability to run your life exactly the way you would most want to run it.

Think back to a time when you were most in your power, maybe a potential crisis was averted because you thought the situation through in a calm logical manner and made the right decision based on your thought process.

How did that feel? My friend, thats how it feels to be in your power.

Life by nature will confront you with situations that will attempt to take your power from you. Your job from now on is to create the ability to stay in your power and be 100% response-able no matter what crisis confronts you.

Deep breathing can help immensely, take a deep breath, hold it for three seconds and let it all out slowly, do this about ten times then ask yourself how can I be different this time? You will find that just by asking yourself this question in a given situation you will find that this time your reaction will be different. Try it!

I was born and raised in a very unforgiving environment, for most people living there drugs, prison or death seemed to be the only way out. I too could have become a criminal and have every excuse in the world for doing so. I made a conscious decision at an early age that I was not going to live or die like that. Those of us who live in their power are never victims they are masters of response-ability, (they are able to respond) in taking responsibility you are always a powerful creative force controlling your own destiny.
